I have a frustrating issue with Squeezebox. When connected to a PC, if the PC is shut down or if someone stops squeeze centre, then the controller just hangs, and can't even connect back to Squeeze Network (which it should be able to do without being connected to a PC). If I re-set the controller then it comes back fine, but this really shouln't be necessary.
It gets frustrating when you have kids using the PC without knowing the consequences if shutting the PC down or closing Squeeze centre. It is a Windows XP (Home) PC, but I also have a Mac and have exactly the same issue, so it can't be a PC issue. Am using 7.01. The help desk suggested re-installing squeeze centre, but since it also happens on the Mac (which is a clean install) I don't see that this will fix it. Any ideas ?
