IIRC using the + key in Now Playing should remove the selected track from the Now Playing list.
Press and hold + to add next in Music Library is working ok for me running the same SC version as you (I think), but haven't updated to latest nightly for a couple of weeks - could you have any other plugins installed that might have hijacked the press and hold + combination ? -- Siduhe Who am I on 'LAST.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/siduhe)?
