Hello,

I bought my squeezebox yesterday and I have been dealing / playing with
it for 24 hours now. I installed squeezecenter on debian/etch instantly
and flawlessly. I had a hard time to get the squeezebox connected. I
prefer to have the squeezebox connected via ethernet and the controller
via wifi. I did manage to connect both via wifi. My network look like
this:
internet - router/modem - wireless router

The first time I started the wizard on the controller I recollect that
the wizard had the following order
1. choice connecting straight to squeezebox or via wifi
2. connecting controller to wifi
3. choice connecting squeezebox via ethernet or wifi

Now that I want to change connecting squeezebox via ethernet in stead
of wifi I am missing the choices 1 en 3 in the wizard. I made sure that
I both the controller and the squeezebox a factory reset. Can somebody
tell me:
1. Why has the wizard changed after the initial install ?
2. How can I change my connection from wifi to ethernet if I miss a
menu item for that ?

Before I succeeded to connect via wifi I tried several times to connect
via ethernet. Everytime the process came to a halt and barked it
couldn't connect without any further error messages. Any idea what I
did wrong / should try to correct things ? I am not aware that I did
configure a firewall on the router/modem. Other devices get connected
without any problem. I tried both static and dhcp. Is there anyway to
get more feedback from the squeezebox. I would die for a webinterface
like most routers.

Thanks in advance, Rik
