I know this is nothing to do with SqueezeCenter and is a last.fm thing, but I totally agree about having a total time would be much better than total plays.
I was thinking about this the other day when I found that Sufjan Stevens was high up my artists as there are loads of 30 second/2 minute songs rather than longer songs by artists I would consider I listen to more.
