Ok I tried getting rid of the album artist and band tags and got the same result. Right now I just got rid of the itunescompilation tag and I'll see if that works in about an hour. What is up with the musicip part of the scan. It must not be able to just update from the timestamp and takes 45 minutes just for that part. It seems that if you use musicip it doesn't matter if you do a full scan or the new and changed scan, both take forever. Oh just for reference about 17k in songs.
