Apologies if this issue has already been resolved, but I have searched extensively through the forums, and checked a bug report on this / a similar matter, and have found only open questions.
I hear a distinct clicking / popping noise at the beginning of M4A / AAC files (as yet no other file types). From what I have understood from other posts, it appears that this may result from the way in which these files are transcoded and/or the settings used in the convert.conf or custom-convert.conf files. I am running SC7.1 - 22170 on a QNAP TS109 Pro with SSODS 3.0beta13 and AlienBBC installed. I have modified the custom-convert.conf file following instructions in the SSODS FAQs on 'Custom file types and conversion rules' which allows these files to play, and have tried changing the Apple AAC 'File Types' settings, but still have this clicking noise, both with SB2 and SB3, on a wired ethernet network. Any assistance (in basic terms, please) greatly appreciated.
