Hi,

The indefatigable Raniere Silva is running a workshop in Brazil to teach people how to use LaTeX and Git to author scientific papers. His notes are online at http://blog.rgaiacs.com/2014/09/27/latex_workshop.html, and after reading them, I'd like to ask if anyone on this list is familiar enough with Authorea, ShareLaTeX, and writeLaTeX to do a blog post for us comparing them to each other (and to other web-based alternatives for writing scientific papers). I think a lot of readers would enjoy learning more about their relative strengths and weaknesses; if you're interested, please ping me.

Thanks,
Greg
