Hi all,
I wanted to take a moment to say hello and introduce myself to you.
After taking Greg's instructor workshop at PyCon, seeing him again at
SciPy, and assisting a recent Software Carpentry Workshop for post-docs
at UCSD, I've taken the plunge and have decided to help out some with
development.
I'm Carol Willing (willingc on github, irc). I'm a contributor to
OpenHatch and its wonderful Open Source Comes to Campus outreach, a
co-organizer of PyLadies, an active member of San Diego Python User
Group, and Geek in Residence at Fab Lab San Diego
(http://www.fablabsd.org/team/carol-willing/). Mostly, I'm just someone
that loves teaching and inspiring people of all ages to learn and enjoy
science and someone who loves programming.
Thanks for everything that you do to create and share the amazing parts
of science with others :)
