Hi everyone; welcome back, and happy New Year. As we announced in
December, the first election for the Software Carpentry Foundation's
Steering Committee will be held Jan 26-30. If you would like to help
shape the project's future, please consider putting yourself forward by
sending us a short blog post explaining who you are, where you'd like to
see us go, and how you can help us get there. For more information,

people we believe are currently qualified to stand and vote in the

sure we've missed a few people - if you're taught two or more times in
the past two years, or have done other significant work (writing
lessons, building tools, organizing workshops, etc.), and you *aren't*
listed there, please let me know as soon as you can.
