Hi Dave,

If you're referring to NumFOCUS, I am not worried about losing their
support. They were literally founded with the mission of supporting
open-source in science.

Additionally, Software Carpentry has an operating model of financial
self-sufficiency and is not reliant on any single organization for
financial support.
