Case in point: a graduate student from my lab is explicitly interested in employment in Monsanto's basic science program, and looks at this as an opportunity to sell themselves to Monsanto while getting a bit of a behind- the-scenes look at how things work there. For my Davis workshops, I'm hoping a few corporate folk come. It's great for networking as well as getting a different perspective on basic and applied science. I haven't decided yet if I will have a different pricing tier, but companies do understand such things and would probably be amenable to paying for demonstrated value. best, --titus > On 2015-03-04 1:12 PM, Daniel Chen wrote: >> I agree, a discussion is definitely warranted. >> >> Iterating off of Jason's e-mail: many services offer academic and >> corporate pricing tiers.
