This is a reminder that Steering Committee elections are coming up.
The deadline for submitting a blog post to stand for election is January 15th,
2016. More info here:

swcarpentry/website with blog posts in the _posts directory)
Election candidates are encouraged to attend one of the community calls on
February 9th 2016 to present their goals for the organization. Candidates will
be given 3-5min to present to the community during the calls.
Elections will take place online from February 15-19th 2016. All members are
eligible to vote, check to make sure you're on the list
(http://software-carpentry.org/scf/members/) and contact
[email protected] if you think you should be and are not.
These are exciting times for Software Carpentry, we’re having more impact in
more places, helping scientists and other scholars to tackle their
computational research challenges. Help us to lead the way with your
perspective and background by standing for election to the Steering Committee.
