Hi,
Can any of you recommend conferences with strong basic computer
science education components? The best focus would be undergraduate
and higher computing education in the sciences.
Thanks,

For computer science education:
1. The biggest conference in the field is SIGCSE
(http://sigcse.org/sigcse/events/symposia); this year's is in Memphis in
March: http://sigcse2016.sigcse.org/
2. ITiCSE (Integrating Technology in Computer Science Education, but I
had to look that up) is smaller and more focused; this year's is in
Peru: http://ucsp.edu.pe/iticse2016/
3. ICER (International Computing Education Research) is even smaller but
even more focused; this year's is in Melbourne in September:
http://icer.hosting.acm.org/
4. ACE (Australiasian Computing Education Conference) is regional but
very strong; this year's is in February in Canberra:
http://cs.adelaide.edu.au/~ace2016/index.html
5. ACSE (Association of Computer Studies Educators) is probably the
smallest of the bunch; it's Ontario-based, and also in February:

For computing education in the sciences, I'm afraid I don't know (but
should) - pointers from other people would be very welcome.
Thanks,
Greg
