Software Carpentry Instructors,

These sessions are a great way to:
1. reinforce your own competency in specific lessons
2. meet the new instructors
3. be ambassadors of awesome, showing off what you love about SWC and its
teaching community.

As we grow the community and bring on new instructors, we'd like these
discussion sessions to be a welcoming way for new instructors to get a feel for
how the rubber meets the road with what they've learned in instructor training.
As a teaching community that is growing, we very much need the community to own
this process and we want it to be fun and engaging, just like a workshop.

I hope you can find an hour or two to help us out! Initial feedback has been
great for the few we've run.

Regards,

Subject:  [Discuss] looking for a few more lesson discussion leaders

Hi everyone,

The lesson discussion sessions with instructor trainees have been going
very well - thanks to everyone who's been leading them. We have quite a
few more trainees in the pipeline, so I'd be very grateful if people
who've taught a couple of times or more would volunteer to lead a couple
of Q&A sessions - if you're willing, please mail me directly and let me
know what dates and times would work for you. Ideally, we'd like you to
do two hour-long sessions on the same day, spaced far enough apart that
trainees in different time zones will be able to find one that works for
them.

Thanks very much,
Greg
