The project overview doesn't get down to the level of Git workflows
[1].  Most of the individual repositories point at GitHub flow [2] and
suggest a target branch, for example [3].  That's nice, because
there's lots of detail, it's an off-the-shelf workflow, and the docs
are maintained by someone else ;).  On the other hand, it doesn't feel
as lovingly crafted as something that lives in the repository itself.
