This! My biggest problem with svn was I could never wrap my head around the
organization/setup. There were these three directories I was told I needed,
but it was never clear where they were suppose to be, or really why I
needed them. And then there was this other directory that actually had the
repository, but was never suppose to be touched, and it just didn't make
any sense. I always had the feeling I set things up wrong, and it felt so
clunky. Setting up repositories with git and using them was so much easier
for me to understand. Although, maybe part of that was due to struggling
with svn for so long first.
