Thanks to everyone who forwarded a copy of the article to me. I just
sent the following to their 'letters' address (since 'editorial' and
'errata' and 'corrections' all bounce):
Thank you for mentioning Software Carpentry in your March 26 article
"Professors' unprofessional programs have created a new profession".
I'm grateful for the publicity, but would be equally grateful if you
could make the following corrections:
- Software Carpentry was co-founded by myself and Brent Gorda (who is
now with Intel).
- It did not start at the University of Toronto (which you have
incorrectly as "Toronto University" in your article), but at Los
Alamos National Laboratory.
- I do not run the Software Carpentry Foundation - our Executive
Director is Mr. Jonah Duckles.
If only the article was on GitHub, so that I could send a pull
request... :-)
