Thanks for the pointer to the Hammer Principle website --- interesting
resource I hadn't seen before.

I started a small project / framework to practice polyglot programming
about a year ago, and the discussion here inspired me to clean it up and
hopefully add more to it soon. I always find implementing simple
functionality accross languages to be a great learning experience.
