Just as an aside, when I taught the Shell lesson at University of Tennessee last fall, there were a few students who had done work on supercomputers, and had taken the training offered by the organization managing the supercomputers (I think it was some conglomerate of academic centers that rhymes with "seed") prior to using the supercomputer resources, and they said that the material in the Shell lesson was more useful to them than anything they had seen from the managing organization.
