Hi folks, After a year as serving as mentoring committee chair, I'm planning to step down this month. That means we need some people in the community to step up and help the mentoring committee continue!
I've written a blog post about joining here: https://software-carpentry.org/blog/2017/03/join-mentoring.html We could use new members and a few people to step up into official positions. I've put some effort into dividing up my previous duties as chair into 4-5 well-defined positions, so while these positions will be a commitment beyond attending meetings, they also don't have big requirements. If you want to do something extra for Software Carpentry and aren't sure what, this is an excellent opportunity. :) Let me know if you have any questions!
