supporting new community members

Hi Jonah, all

I'm tangential to Software Carpentry, but try to keep up and learn
from you guys. I'm not an instructor, mentor or mentee[1], but without
without Software Carpentry, so I feel like I'm intruding a bit. During
an EC project I've been working on for the last two years[2], I've had
some community development and mentorship responsibilities. The
project is coming to a close soon, and I'd really like to get some
insight into how to continue developing the community after the
project finishes. This is not strictly about software carpentry for
basic skills, but rather for building science gateways and other
integrated environments for research, following an Open Science
paradigm.

Pretty please - can I join the call ?
Thanks !
Bruce
