Hi all, I'm an Associate Editor with the Journal of Open Research Software and I'm currently handling a submission on a hydrologic model written in Python: https://github.com/JGCRI/xanthos
I don't know many hydrologists (let alone hydrologists with an interest in open source software), so I thought I'd reach out to the Software Carpentry community. Would anyone be interested in reviewing this submission? Or do you know someone who might be? Some knowledge of hydrological modelling would be useful (although it can be a very shallow knowledge), but the main thing you need is a feel for what makes a well documented software package written in Python. Details of the criteria against which submissions are reviewed can be found at the following link: http://openresearchsoftware.metajnl.com/about/editorialpolicies/ Regards, Damien Irving Postdoctoral Research Fellow CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere
