Hi,
I've posted a list of different kinds of exercises people use to teach
programming at http://third-bit.com/2017/10/16/exercise-types.html, and
would be grateful for feedback (preferably comments on the post or email
to me to keep list traffic down). There are a great many types that I
haven't included - my filters were "must be quick for students to do"
and "must be possible to automatically grade". If you have suggestions
or extensions, I'd enjoy hearing from you.
