Hi everyone,

Ciencia Puerto Rico [1] is coordinating and helping to disseminate offers of
aid to scientists in Puerto Rico. If you would like to help, you can fill out
their registration form [2] and specify the skills that you would like to
share. Startups of Puerto Rico [3] has started a registry for coders and people
in tech to offer volunteer services [4].

Hurricane Maria left millions of people in Puerto Rico without electricity,
potable water, adequate food, or communication more than 3 weeks ago. The
Arecibo telescope is damaged and the flagship campus of the University of
Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras has been destroyed. Rebuilding will take years and
will require many hands. Please join in the effort to rebuild science in Puerto
Rico.

Yours,

Sue McClatchy
