Hi Raniere, a slightly left field suggestion: maybe use something like thebelab or juniper to make the code examples executable (and automatically generate output)?
Having it editable and runnable from the browser is an anti-feature for you but maybe the same snippet of JS can be used to just do the automatic execution with editing disabled. For a demo checkout the "executable examples" for example in the spacy documentation: https://spacy.io/usage/linguistic-features T Thebelab: https://github.com/minrk/thebelab Juniper: https://github.com/ines/juniper On Mon, May 14, 2018 at 2:38 AM Belinda Weaver <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all > > Raniere Silva has posted a new blog on whether to use reticulate to render > code chunks in our lesson templates > https://carpentries.org/blog/2018/05/reticulate/ > > Raniere is keen for discussion on this so feel free to weigh in. > > regards > Belinda > > Belinda Weaver > Community and Communications Lead > The Carpentries > e: [email protected] | p: +61 408 841 882 <+61%20408%20841%20882> | > t: @cloudaus > _______________________________________________ > Discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.software-carpentry.org/listinfo/discuss
