Hi all,
I am having problems with a desktop, which crashes when using X
environment in Linux.

We have 9 identical desktop systems. Dell Optiplex 745 with an ATI 1300
for dual screening.
One of them suddenly (from one day to the next) start crashing when
booting on X. We use an image management software to install saved
images with different configurations, the same image which works
perfectly in the other 8 desktops fails in that one.
A clean Linux install fails if GUI is installed, but not if Text
environment is loaded (init 3).

Windows works fine, with dual desktop, etc...
That's why I am asking here and not in Dell's support. As I expect they
say that Linux is not supported and windows is working.

Ram and disk's tests doesn't show any error.
I swapped the graphic cards and still the same problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Isaac
