But that makes sense, because you *could* in theory, draw the power (and generate the heat) without giving them any notice whatsoever. And if your "neighbors" in the colo did so as well, you'd be raising a stink to high-heaven if the colo facility wasn't engineered to "remove the heat we paid for". While, as a colo-occupant, I much prefer metered power, I can fully understand why metered-power is a bad model for colo facilities to use as a cost basis for their occupants.
