Not true about not having paid support for CentOS. The person who wrote
the open letter has a company that provides paid support for CentOS. He
has told me there are several other companies that provide paid support
for CentOS.

The original email was asking for a cost-benefit comparison between RHEL
and CentOS. To me that would include comparing the cost of paid support
for both. I haven't done a cost-benefit comparison, which is why I didn't
respond to the original post.

The base CentOS stays very similar to RHEL, but they have some
repositories with packages that do differ.

Looks like the issues got resolved, but ForkOS would've worked just as
well.
