I had asked a few months ago about Enterprise NAS, and among the responses was mention of Exanet. We brought them in (well, got them on the phone -- they apparently don't travel much) and spoke to them. It sounded like an interesting product, though nowhere near ready for true Enterprise installations.
We wanted to get them back in to talk about their roadmap for the next year, since we're comparing them with other companies (NetApp, EMC, BlueArc, Isilon, Panasas). They didn't join the teleconference. I emailed to ask what was up, and got back a very short "Sorry, but I'm not with the company anymore -- someone will be contacting you". It turns out that as of 12/12, they're in receivership. Ah, well. I guess I can cross them off the list. Has anyone heard otherwise? I hope you guys who recommended them aren't now stuck with something unsupportable. -Adam _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
