Threads are folders and you can press right arrow to open the folder and down arrow through your messages. It's like the mail interface. nice. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruce Bailey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X bythe blind" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 09, 2005 7:16 PM Subject: Re: Ordered and waiting > I specifically described my situation before and was told that the mail > program that comes with Tiger doesn't support newsgroups. Okay, sorry I was confused, but the key term you should be using is usenet. All email programs support standard common listserv style news groups not. Most email programs do not support usenet news groups. That's like expecting your email program to be a web browser. It has been so long, happily, since I used Outlook Express that I forgot it had a news reader feature. I would recommend you try OSXnews or Unison. Both are newer usenet news readers and deliberately modeled to have an interface similar to Mail. I tried both with VoiceOver and didn't have any problems as far as I took it, but neither is a program I have any experience with. Version Tracker is your friend. These two products are at: http://osxnews.sourceforge.net/new2/ http://www.panic.com/unison/
