I am using it with my scanner but it is controlled by an apple script so 
I dont need to use VO with it.  It does not  have any problems with 
OSX.  One thing though, on using Apple script, if one uses the script 
controlled computer voices to give audio info to the user while Vo is 
running sometimes the  two voices overrun each other or cut each other
