Jane. Allow me to show you how to take this idea a step further.
Below ae
some instructions on how to make a podcast using your live journal
account.
1. Go to www.feedburner.com and sign up for an acount.
2. make sure that your livejournal account is set up for rss. I
think that
this can be done during the initial setup of your account, or
applied later
on.
3. In your feedburner account, it wil ask you where your files will
reside.
Point that link to your livejournal account.
4. Once both accounts are created, place your mp3 files on a server
somewhere. A good free site is www.ourmedia.org. You can freely upload
unlimmited mp3 files.
5. To publish each eppesode of your podcast, just upload a file to
ourmedia
and place a link to it in your livejournal entries. Everytime an
entry is
published, feedburner will grab that information and make it
available for
people with podcast agrigators. If you have friends that want to
listen via
a podcast, you can give them your feedburner link, which will look
like
this. http://feeds.feedburner.com/yourfeed. Plus, if you have
friends that
don't want to use an agrigator, they can just go to your
livejournal site
and manually click on the files. It works either way. I hope this
is of help
to you, and I can't wait to hear your audio blogs. Have a great day.
