Hello,
Thanks for the info.
I also have audio hijack basic and I am compairing things for the
near future. I'll spend a lot more time playing around with hijack.
Interesting about QuickTime.
In fact one of the reasons for my switching to the Mac is because I
didn't want to pay annually or so for Windows screen reader updates.
Lots of luck with coco. While I am not a programmer, i am pleased
that it is a language that programmers can work with to make products
better.

I have not purchased the full version of quicktime, though I was
fully prepared to do so at one point. I then went and read
comments from other users, and finally decided against it. My main
reason for not doing so, is that with every version of quicktime
that comes out (8.0, 9.0, 10.0) you need to purchase quicktime
again. Licenses do not allow for upgrades, you need to pay full
price each time.
My second reason was because I'm finally beginning to get a handle
on coco programming, and apple includes a quicktime api with their
development tools, and I'm currently working on replacing all the
non-working quicktime functions with ones I've coded myself using
the quicktime api (go figure) And the third reason is because I
found another program that handles almost all of my recording
needs, and it's called audio hijack. I got the pro, but the basic
works just as well. Check the archives, or your back messages to
see the url. It's made by rogue amoeba Software, and it works like
a charm. The address is rogueamoeba.com or something similar.

Hi,
Has anyone purchased the full QuickTime application. The reason I
ask is because it allows for recording.
If so, how well are you able to use it with VO?
How well does the recording feature work?
Can you use it to make CDs?
Are you able to use items like the EQ functions?
Thanks for any info.
