Hi Cheryl, >I can ssh using the .local domain either way; no problem.
Yes, and you can find the IP address of your wireless machine with System Preferences under System Preferences->Network->Show -> Airport->TCP/IP (Select Airport under the dropdown show menu and the TCP/IP tab) >But my question is: how do I ssh >(though I realize I can also access in the gui) to my Mac on wireless >from the other mac mini. The wireless machine doesn't show an ip >address in system preferences that I can use to connect. Another way to do this that you'll know from your linux background is with the ifconfig -a command in terminal. I use: ifconfig -a | grep broadcast and you'll get back a line with the IP address listed Esther
