I am delighted to say that I just finished paying all my usual
monthly online bills using safari!!!
Some may remember that I couldn't manage to pay my Best Buy bill a
while back. Today I got to the payment center and just got a beep
when I tried to interact with html content so the content appeared to
be empty. Just about the time I was about to throw a fit, I decided
to try tabbing. sure enough, I got into all the links that way and
was able to finish the bill payment. There's one less thing for which
I need linux now; in fact, as an experiment i've been using only the
Mac for a week now--of course I do use terminal and that's a Unix
command-line which somewhat takes the place of linux for me. I do
terribly miss braille, but I can function efficiently enough without it.
Anyway, I'm very pleased that I could pay all my bills and hope this
will be an encouragement to others trying the same thing that in the
majority of cases there is a way.
