How do you control click on a link or the like?

Subject: saving a linked document
Folks, I found a pdf file I want to pull off a site, in windows a
"right click" will get you an option to save the pdf file, so how is
this accomplished in Safari. I'm sure I'm missing something in the
help file, but haven't found it yet.
