Hello any tips?

Hello,
I'm new to all this, and am currently getting sighted assistance to  
write this mail, but can anybody help direct me to a website or  
information for learning how to use voiceover and via-voice etc.. on  
the tiger operating system to perform basic tasks. e.g mail and  
surfing, I'm especially interested in hands free as i would like to  
do as little typing as possible, my other basic problem being    
navigating using the cursor. has anybody got any tips about  
navigating using voice commands.. as I'm currently getting to grips  
with this system please allow a long time for me to respond directly

Im pleased to have joined this mailing list and hope to be able to  
contribute my experience when i am familiar with using speech and  
dictating software.
