I have been reading about access problems with itunes. Here is a page
devoted to apple scripts for it. I didn't look in detail but it looks like
some of his scripts can do the kinds of routine things any itune user might
want.
It should also have interest for those who might want to use scripting to
use itunes completely from scripts. I see there is an apple script command
to start a terminal command which would then allow creating text based play
lists etc. over which the user would have complete control. Only now
starting to look at apple scripting, if it allows creating menus of
commands one could create an entire itune application which uses the
processes of itunes but independent of the existing screen application.
