Unfortunately, Alva Access Group no longer supports, sells, or even
admits the existence of outspoken. This really is a sad state of
affairs, since there is still so much os9 products available. When
I spoke with an outspoken rep in 2003, I was told outspoken would not
be supported anymore, but yet, they would not entertain the idea of
selling it to someone else to continue development either.
Artic Technologies is the same way. What is it with companies that
make adaptive equipment/programs that when they no longer make
support or even sell the product that they refuse to release it as
freeware or let someone else work on it. I honestly don't understand
this behavior. Don't these folks realize that the community as a
whole would benefit from such thhings?
But anyway, if you find someone willing to sell their outspoken, buy
it, and if you find another one, let me know. I'd like one too.

Hello
I am sorry if this is off topic but I don't know where to ask users
thhat possibly still use os 9.
I am in the market for a copy of outspoken 9 the screen reader for
os9. I am running an old powermac 5400 180 on my lan now that runs
os9 and would like to use it with a screen reader. if anyone could
help, i'd appreciate it.
I currently am using 1.7.5 of the product, but it does react very
well to thhe os because it is far different then the 6100 100 that
I am running os 7 on.
