It's rather interesting, I have sort of the reverse of the problem of
losing focus in mail. Sometimes, after sending or reading a message,
command+tab to get out of mail will let me out for a second, then
throw me back into the search text field in mail, so I have to command
+tab again to get back out. VO-keys+shift+d does the same thing. This
happens with mouse tracking VO cursor, somehow it gets placed into
the search field in mail and wants to stay there.
