That wasn't really the point; I didn't need to edit it.
But when I tried to get it to run, by using command-o as you had done
with the time and date script and which you also reported doing, it
tried to open instead of running and thus the error. That's why I had
been leery of making scripts "run only" in the first place, because I
had had that experience before of having a script saved as run only
refuse to do anything but try to open. There's nothing wrong with the
script itself, but it only tries to open instead of running; if it's
saved as "run only" it should run with "command-o" or at least one
would think so; either that or there should be another command or key
combination to get it to run instead. At least it will run with spark.
