Tim, thanks for the info, I'll let my wife know. I think mostly she
wants to remove some things from the pictures like in one there's a
great pic of my retired guide who was the greatest German SHepherd
I've yet worked and he passed on Monday. We wanted to get a really
nice pic of him without furnature and the like in it. I'll have her
try that and if nothing else, we'll look into the Adobe products.

If it is basic photo editing which includes cropping, getting rid
of red-eye, getting rid of spots by blending and such, then the
iPhoto should do the trick for you. This app comes bundled with
your Mac and is quite powerful for editing and organizing digital
photos. Otherwise, Adobe PhotoShop is probably the best thing out
there for their purposes. There is a somewhat watered down version
called PhotoShop Elements that can do some pretty good editing as
well. I would first check out iPhoto as it is free but if it
doesn't meet your needs, move on.
