to open your home folder, in the finder, or on the desktop hit command shift h and the home folder will open, same with command shift a for the applications folder and command shift u for the untilites forlder.

Well hello, this is before my coffee or anything.

I sent an email yesterday, but never saw it arrive. I think I may have sent it to Jane directly.

So far so good. I am really impressed with how well this program runs as it is the first adition. Are there programs that work with it besides the basic opperating system? I see world book and journal work. I'm struggling to get itunes to play nicely, but I want to play my mp3's. Has anyone got any tips to help me do it more easily?

Also I am wondering if there is a quicker way to get to my documents than opening a finder window, interacting with side bar, then opening my home folder. I have tried to find ways to make short cut keys or something, but it seems I can only make them for programs?

As far as email goes, I am using hotmail because I am moving to America in the next couple of months so want an email address I can take with me. The mail program doesn't seem to work with web mail. Anyone got any suggestions? Maybe a dot mac membership? My husband is using my mac too much and I'm getting stuck with the wimdows machine. Think I'm going to have to get an imac minni to take with me. I'm really sorry for all the questions, but if it's any consolation, I'm only posting a small amount compared to what I actually have. Lucky I'm not good enough yet to send emails asking them as I go. *grin*

Is anyone using voices other than the ones the operating system comes with? Oh and one last thing, When navigating websites, sometimes vo just seems to die. It will come back after a fassion and still seems to read all the stuff that was there when it died. This makes me think it is not because it is reaching a part of the site that is inaccessible? Any thoughts? Ok shutting up now and getting coffee. I stayed up way too late. Was reading the tutorial and before I knew it it was 6 A.m.

Cheeers,
Jessica
