That's about the only way I can figure it right now. If I can use a key word bassed on a given email list address, macvisionaries for example, maybe it could be sorted together in one box. Although right now just in the inbox most mails from a given group are grouped together, but some groups do have a higher priority for reading.

Will keep this idea going in the curiosity mill while I'm at work today, and when I have some time off or am not doing something obnoctious like writinginto the list here, will atempt it.

Btw, the walk around the village was nice. Three cars at the vet's office, they're kind of busy today. Yes our scale of things is slightly smaller than other places hahahaha.

Tom, I think you might be able to create a smart mailbox for this. Or even a smart folder. So, when you get messages with certain words in them or something, they can be automatically moved into those mail boxes. I've not played with smart mailboxes so cannot speak in depth on this though.

That is what I though you would say. So goes that little burst of optimism.

Also reread your mail again, so understand more what you are talking about there.

But it would be nice if it would work wouldn't it?

Going to go outside and walk the dog around the village.

Later.

The only way you can get an automated activity is to know in advance where what will need to go.

Well, I must have been sleeping in that part of class. How can I get messages to automatically go into different boxes, or are you talking about different acounts.

For example, with this list, I have a box where I am moving mail that I want to save, how can I get messages to just automatically go there or is there a way to do that?

The Junk box is already colecting stuff, that's not a problem, and it saves me a lot of trouble dealing with spam in my inbox, but is automatic delegation posible, and is that in preferences under sorting, or in rules?

Hey Louie,

Here's how I'd do it. I'm going to assume that you have messages to a particular address going into a particular mail box for simplicity, but you can set up any conditions that are appropriate.

In the action side, you can assign play a sound in addition to having the messages go into the mail box. I hope this is what you are asking.

Hi all,
Has anyone figured out how to assign a sound to each mail box.
