Hi. Thanks for the info.My sound is working fine; my devices are fine; my audio midi setup info looks fine. I can listen fine; it's just the busy signals that are the problem. When I did and archive and install to try to solve this problem, which it didn't, I followed this with the combo update; didn't solve the problem.
