It doesn't matter how large the message is. When you're pointing to
the html object, simply hit vo-A, and it will read the whole thing
from top to bottom. I do this all the time with the apple emails,
both for the adc select member emails, and for the dot mac update
emails.

of these at least the body as html content. Once you get inside
though, you might find rich text or html or mixed content. You
might try command-shift-t to see if turning it into plain text
