Hi,
Something else I found. If you just hit the space bar once before
typing your URL, it will clear the field and you will not hear any
autofill. It is almost like typing a null character.
Then if you want to hear the autofill, just type the URL without the
space at the beginning of the address field.

Actually, now that I'm used to it, I like autofill. I've learned to
just ignore it and keep typing if it's not what I want, to
backspace when I'm done if autofill has completed my url but
something more is added, etc. However, at first I did find it
annoying and I can understand why a lot of people might not want
it. It is really nice, when I can't remember an url, to start
typing what I think is the beginning and have it finished for me.
But as I said, I found it distracting at first and am kind of
surprised now to find I like it.
