There is no preference for line spacing that can be saved across
launches of text edit. This is a relatively simple thing to fix
though. Text edit soource is included with the samples that come
with the XTools install. All you need to do is add a new preference
option for line spacing, then add a routine to call the line spacing
routines when text edit loads. Sure, it would be only on your copy
once it was done, but at least it would work.
