I use a Powerbook G4 and the built in mike with skype. People hear voiceover quite well wehn I am trying to find the hangup button. I didn't have to change any settings at all. What you might find however is that for whatever reason trying to use vo can be a little slower wehn skype is running and I don't know why. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Gunn" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS Xby theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2006 9:27 PM Subject: RE: Garage Band update > And on this subject, how do you use it? > > I've tried everything I can but still can't get it to record using the > Ibook. > > If anyone has some tips, I'd appreciate it. > > One more thing speaking of audio, I want to demo the Mac with a person on > Skype but they can't hear VOE and I suspect Skype might be taking over the > system but if there's away I could have VOE be audioable, I'd like to > hear. > > John > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jane Jordan > (Gmail) > Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2006 8:11 PM > To: General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by > theblind > Subject: Garage Band update > > > Has anyone who's upgraded to 10.4.5 noticed any improvement with > garage Band?
