I don't notice VOE running any slower and I'm using a Ibook with 512 megs of
ram and runs pretty well with or out Skype but thanks for the reply.

Good evening John. I use a Powerbook G4 and the built in mike with skype.
People hear voiceover quite well wehn I am trying to find the hangup button.
I didn't have to change any settings at all.  What you might find however is
that for whatever reason trying to use vo can be a little slower wehn skype
is running and I don't know why.
