Sorry for not replying earlier, I expected someone else to step in  
with an answer.  However, to my knowledge, there is no way to do  
this.  Short of saving the page as an archive, loading it into text  
edit, then copying the piece you want.  I've had need of this many  
times, and though I've tried several things, I've not successeeded in  
getting vo to allow me to highlight text on a web page for copying in  
safari.  I'd wager other web browsers are the same, though I've not  
tried it with other programs.
